Home sweet home

We got to come home monday around 3 and I was so happy to be leaving I may have skipped to the car. We left primary children's after three days and the same clothes I came in. it was so nice to get a shower, sleep in a bed, get more than one hour sleep total and most of all it was so nice to love on my baby girl.  They never did figure out what the culprit was for his symptoms they think it may have been caused from my breast infection or something as simple as the stomach flu. whatever the reason I'm so glad we arrived in the er when we did because he was going down hill fast.
Now we're home fin is doing better still not back to his complete self but anything is better than what he was. He goes back in for a weight check because even with all the fluids they pumped him full of and a good full day of eating he hasn't been able to gain any weight. I'm still exhausted as all mothers are to a newborn but this level of exhaustion is nothing I've experienced. On top of that I'm still trying to fight two ridiculouS breast infections. genevieve is doing good and really missed me and her little "inlee". So she has been extra clingy and whiny but I can't blame her. And joe...seriously I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I am to have him. He is amazing! on top of everything that has been going on he still manages to do well in school, work, be an awesome dad and help me with everything. Really I wonder how I got so lucky.

hopefully the worst is behind us and we can start to find our new normal with baby finley and catch up on sleep. Wish us luck.
