thoughts.

"Enjoy your toddler! Although it may seem at times that they will never grow up, they always do. The long, seemingly endless days will gradually be replaced by days with not enough hours in them. Children who once needed you for everything will need you less and less, and the days of leisurely walks, playdough and afternoon naps will be a warm and fuzzy memory. My hope is that both you and your child will have many happy hours of playing, growing, and learning together."

i had to remind myself this after I found genevieve elbow deep in a jar of vaseline while she happily licked her fingers.

Hehehe... I always say, the days drag on and the years fly by. Some days feel they will never end, yet you sit and look at your child one day and think, where has this last year gone? It's maddening, yet so fun to see them explore new things... like a jar of vaseline!

I've had the same thing happen to me, and vaseline is not an easy clean up! I read your blog all the time..no one ever comments on mine either so don't feel bad! :) Congrats on the Pregnancy! Hope you get feeling better soon!

Ah, may the fun begin ;). And so true, enjoy them while they're little because it seems so brief when you start looking back on the time.

All of mine have grown up so fast. I can't believe Ben is in kindergarten. Just make sure you take time to love and enjoy her.

Time sure does fly by. It gets worse as you get busier with more kids, but they always do something to remind you to smile and enjoy life.
