we took a brief pause from being sick
a very brief brief pause
because after all the excitement i am sicker than a dog.
But anywho...
the party itself was ghoulish
the trick or treaters were frightful (and very cold and wet)
the house was radiant
and the night all in all was lots of fun
(i was so sad i couldn't figure out my camera so i didn't get to capture the ambience of the evening)
there were treats... lots and lots of treats
and joe's homemade rootbeer
halloween plates were the cherry on top
tea lights covered every surface of the house
each book shelf
window seal (sp?)
piano
table
and scary back ground noise
echoed throughout the house
(genevieve's baby monitored added to the sound effects with baby coughs and short bouts of sobs
it was so funny no one knew it was the baby monitor)
the door bell rang and our first guests had arrived
the Duggars from the TLC show
19 kids and counting
Jim Bob and Michelle
(chad and kandace)
the next to arrive was barbie and ken
(jess and tyler)
and the winners of a $25 gift certificate
i opened the door and there was a fridge
and some dead people in side
(dustin and Kristin)
it was such a fun night
thank you so much for coming to our spooktacular
halloween night
now i'm going back to bed.

look at you! i wasn't even sick and in NO way would have had the energy to pull off such a cool Halloween party! what fun!
