today was filled with many emotions
there were a few smiles
many tears
hugs
kisses
and lots of prayers
from many many people.
Before the photos begin I have to apologize,
I took all of these photos on my phone
so bare with me.
story to follow in the days ahead
when I regain my sanity,
free my arms from a sick baby
get some rest
and digest all that has occured in the past 24 hours.
until then...
our genevieve before.
hungry, tired but still willing to smile for strangers
and do what she does the very best
F L I R T
without all that pink and a bow
its hard to tell gender
genevieve are you a boy or girl?
"what on earth have you put me in mom?
um' I thought you had better sense then this."
as the time grew closer to say our goodbyes
she grew much more quiet and reserved.
"goodbyes" are always hard
but it makes the "hellos" that much more wonderful
groggy, confused, anxious and in quite a bit of pain
nothing a mother's chest can't solve
a glassy look just long enough to see her new stuffed animal
mommy and daddy got in the gift shop
and then back to sleep
there are only two very simple words
that consume my soul right now.
thank you
to my heavenly father
to my husband
to the doctors and nurses at primarys
to my country for giving me the great opportunity to fix this problem
to my family
and my friends.
all i can say is thank you.

All the pictures are very sweet. Thanks for updating about yesterday, it's good to hear everything is okay. I hope that miss G. feels much better and I also hope her mommy gets some sleep. Love you Kenz, please let me know if I can do something for you.
I'm so happy to hear everything went well and she's doing okay. We'll be praying for a quick recovery. My mom was so happy to see you last night. Wish I could have too. Love the sweet pictures.
So glad everything is alright. I thought about you all day.
Awe, what sweet pictures. So sad that she had to go through this. Glad to hear she is doing well and enjoying the many gifts!
