as i pulled out the 6 month clothes and put the 3 month sizes away
i found myself really missing my little newborn...
i miss all of her fuzzy hair
i miss her squishy little body
i miss her sleepy days
i miss the excitement of having a newborn
i miss snuggles
i miss her small newborn cry
i miss how teeny tiny she use to be
but with that all said...
genevieve gave me one of the best gifts I have ever received.
for the first time
she reached around my neck and snuggled her head down into my chest.
it was a small, clumsy, wobbly, baby hug.
it was magical...
better than Disneyland
better than cupcakes
better than that newborn cry
in that moment I was complete...
i'm a mom

I love baby snuggles. With my boys they seemed to be few and far between, but they are so fantastic when they do come! -this is Madison, I'm too lazy to sign out of Keith's account.
