4 Years and Counting...

Once upon a time, in a land far away (Logan) there lived a

                                                  A Young Girl

And a Tall Drink of Water

There meeting was a fairytale one.  Eyes met, hearts pounded and they knew it was love.
er... maybe it didn't happen exactly like that.

The girl lost her keys and in a panic crossed the hall to the next door neighbors and knocked frantically on the door.  The door swung open and there stood a tall drink of water with eyes as blue as the sea and a smile from ear to ear.  'gulp' The girl could feel her face turn flush and her toes begin to tingle.  This was no ordinary next door neighbor... he was quite the hotty!  Feeling a bit faint she managed to make a squeek and her mom followed with "have you seen a pair of keys lying around?"  Unfortunately, he hadn't seen a pair of keys but like the true gentleman that he was he offered to help look.  The girl declined, the door shut and the girl's mother swung around and boldly exclaimed "that is the boy for YOU!"  "unlikely" the girl thought.
As this was all happening on the outside of the door something much different was occuring on the inside....
There was a quiet knock at the door the male residence of the apartment looked out the window to see a girl and her mother.  One of the boys reached for the door but the tall drink of water quickly pushed him aside so he could open it himself.  There he met "his girl, the girl"... ME.

To make a long story short.
From that day forward the pair were quite unseperatable
math tutoring
all night study sessions
apartment date nights
breakfasts and dinners
school dances
football games
school functions
family get togethers
moonlight drives
etc.etc.etc.

One night on a long drive around the city the boy and girl sat in the red Jetta and listened to Elivs Presely's "I can't help falling in love with you" there the boy turned to the girl and told her he just might be falling in love with her.
The girl responded with... "ditto"

A few months later and the boy knelt on one knee at the top of a mountain and asked her the "BIG" question

"Will You Marry Me?"

Of course she said "YES"

7 months later they "sealed" the deal.

In front of 400 guests

They bought an apartment with a "one" bum shower

and 3 months later
the BOY graduated from USU

The two packed up their very few belongings

and headed to San Francisco
where the boy was a hard working engineer and the girl was a dedicated wife and student

Two years later
and a trip to Paris, Ireland

and Africa

and they headed back to Utah

The boy got his dream job playing with expensive cars and being the smart engineer he is.

The girl FINALLY graduated from school

They welcomed a baby into their family

The two began to build a house together

and after 4 years and a million amazing moments together
they still look at eachother like the first time
they laugh more and more everyday
and the girl and the boy look forward to many more long days, late nights, tears, smiles, trials, triumphs, family hugs, movie nights and dances around the kitchen.

You did a great job summing up 4 years in a nut shell. I loved the part about how you met. I didn't know that story.

What a cute post! I didn't realize that's how you met, but I loved the story and of course, as usual, I really loved the pictures!
