Sunday #3

(My Little Sophi has to watch everything
that goes on in the kitchen through the window)

I have to say I am A M A ZAZ I N G! This calling has not only been a blessing because of the cute girls that we get to teach, but because I am actually learning how to cook. I am becoming a real wife, cooking and all. Joe is pretty grateful. This week I performed the unthinkable..... I made BREAD, me of all people made bread, without flames, cinders, smoke. I also was proud that the right amount and correct ingredients made it into the pan. It was delicious, thanks to Madison's wonderful recipe, the girls loved it and I made 12 loaves, so my neighbors and family even got to enjoy my exquisite baking *wink.. wink*. As for the lesson itself it went really well. The number of girls didn't double but we did have 5 girls this week. Joe and I were thrilled just to have one more, even if she was just visiting for one Sunday.
I will admit it was a pretty good lesson, I am getting more courage every week so I can talk and add more to the discussion. Joe is the lead teacher but I am getting pretty good at chiming in and taking over. I am so grateful for this calling. I never knew I would learn so much about myself and my testimony. With a little luck and some really good treats I think we can recruit more girls. I am running out of ideas for treats so if anyone wants to donate some fabulous recipes, I would be more than happy to try them out. This coming weekend I won't be there to teach so until next next week...
