update.

little miss genevieve is doing great.  this journey has been hard on her and joe and I but we are all hanging in there.  She is still in quite a bit of pain which most people wouldn't see as she crawls around and pulls herself up onto everything but she is quickly fatigued and I have to stay right on top of her pain medication or we have one very unhappy little girl.  Loratab has been her new bestfriend but she begins to crawl like a drunken sailor all doped up on pain meds.  The nights have been a little rougher than the days.  Genevieve is much more aware of her pain and wakes up every 4 hours after her dose of loratabe has worn off.  It takes me about an hour to calm her down and get her back into bed, so none of us have been getting very much sleep in the Graham household.

She is a happy, healing baby or should I say almost toddler (tear) and I couldn't ask for anything more.  We will see the doctor in a month for an ultra sound to be sure that things were corrected and more tests in a year to check on her left kidney growth because of its stunted growth.

thank you again to all of our wonderful friends for their love and support.
loves
xoxo

I know how rough it can be keeping up with everything with a sick baby, but it will all pay off! I am so glad to hear she is doing better, she seems like such a little angel.

I'm so glad she's doing well. Thank heavens for pain medication! Hopefully it just keeps going uphill and you all can start getting more sleep.

holy crap. i cannot freaking imagine. a full blown surgery on your sweet baby- ugh! i hope you BOTH start getting some sleep and feeling better soon. sorry my travel schedule is so NUTS!! we really do have to get together asap. we should at LEAST have a late night ice cream run tomorrow or something! i know how it is when you have a sick baby and you just need like 5 MINUTES to yourself!!
